Ready to Appoint Your Competent Person?
Package Terms and Conditions.
- Unused telephone support, on-site time, or e-learning licences are not transferable to the following month unless agreed in advance.
- Packages operate on a minimum twelve-month agreement.
- You may change your package once per quarter with one week’s written notice. Changes take effect from the start of the following month.
- Payment is made monthly or annually in advance via direct debit.
- After the initial twelve-month term, services continue on a rolling monthly basis unless one month’s written cancellation notice is provided.
- No price increases will occur within the first twelve months. Thereafter, any increase will be minimal, aligned only with rising operational costs, and subject to one month’s notice.
- Pricing is based on company size and whether the organisation is a start-up or registered charity.
Travel Charges
Where the total return distance from Leadway Fire and Safety Services’ head office exceeds 50 miles, travel will be charged at 45p per mile or standard rail fare, plus reasonable overnight accommodation costs where applicable.
Telephone and Email Advice
All telephone enquiries relating to health and safety will be supported with written email confirmation outlining the advice given. Calls and enquiries will be responded to within two working days, ensuring you receive timely and reliable guidance.
Time on Client Site
Your allocated time on site can be used flexibly across any of our services. We recommend including a quarterly audit or inspection as part of your package to maintain compliance and continuous improvement.
On-site time can be used for:
- Policy development and review
- Risk assessments
- Attendance at meetings
- Incident investigations
- Compliance audits and inspections
- On-site training (subject to sufficient time within your package)
If work required exceeds your remaining allowance, additional time will be charged at the agreed hourly or daily rate.

E-Learning Courses
Your package may include access to our online training courses as advertised. Courses priced over £65.01 + VAT will count as two licences within your allowance.
Please note:
- Externally invigilated examinations are not included and must be purchased separately.
- Courses should not be booked directly via the website, as this may result in duplicate charges. Please contact Leadway Fire and Safety Services to arrange enrolment.
